The People Behind the Ranch
Jeff Balentine, the owner of J-Buckle Ranches, grew up farming and ranching with his family in Greer County, Oklahoma, cutting his teeth on Hereford and Brahman cattle. He attended Oklahoma State University studying computer science and mathematics, which afforded him the opportunity to spend over 17 years in the computer high-tech business.
Jeff recently returned to Greer County refurbishing the family ranch with his father, Ron Balentine, and uncle. They are developing a progressive ranch with proven, predictable Angus genetics backed by the industry’s largest database.
